ON 3/1/11,
I was road testing my coustomers's Trans Sport van,in BLV. Kinney was sitting at the curve on Merrill where it meets Erie. Kinney saw me go by and pulled out and went down Merrill. I turned around at the bowling alley,and went down Erie to Merrill,then north on Lakeview. When I passed Leonard,Kinney was sitting at the corner of Leonard and Lakeview.
Kinney pulled out behind me,and I saw his overhead lites come on when I was at the stop sign at Lakeview and Park.
I then pulled in my driveway at 6482 Lakeview.(1 block away)Kinney got out of his car screaming. Kinney yelled,I chased you a mile,and I'm going to charge you with fleeing and eluding. I told Kinney he was full of shit,and he is. Kinney told me to get back in the van. I said I wanted to go in my house to call for backup,because I didn't trust him. Kinney threatened to shoot me,and I got in the van.
I then got my camera,and took the pictures,that are on the blog.

On the ticket Kinney wrote this.
In the box where it has,Financial Responsibilty Proof,he checked Yes.
Kinney never asked for proof of any kind.

Where it has,Upon A Public Highway Namely,Kinney wrote Leonard Road. Kinney was so shook up,he can't remember what road he was on,and what road I was on.
Kinney's record keeping is as bad as his judgement of who to have for friends.
The reason I had the camera in the van was.
While road testing in BLV,Kinney had started to do u-turns,and what ever it took to follow me,SO,I found it to be a good idea,to carry my camera,and pepper spray.
It's too bad road testing in BLV has become so dangerous.
The shit with Kinney,and the clerk gang,is long from over.

I have tried to sit back and give Kinney the benefit of a doubt but what he has done with Dan Boyle is totally out of line.
I believe that since Dan was driving a customer's van that no ticket should have been issued, it wasn't even Dan's vehicle, I don't think that he was responsible that there was no front plate. Besides doesn't that charge merit a warning since obviously the vehicle was licensed.
I believe that the "Failure to Obey an officer's order" is bogus and was just processed to save face to the Sheriff's Department becuase Kinney called for four sheriff's cars for backup shich was totally unnecessary. What did that little goof cost the County (taxpayer)? What an unprofessional move! Made Kinney look like the imcompetent that he is.
And, pretty much everyone knows that the clerk and her gang do not want Dan pursuing their mismanagement of the village any longer and I would think Kinney was probably acting on thier behalf.
The above is strictly my opinion and I say this because, Dan has been threatened and harrassed by the Clerk's bunch, Dan made police reports and absolutely nothing was done by Kinney.
One more thing Kinney, Serve and Protect does not mean serve Ethel!

Confused in Brady Lake Village said...: Lots of things are just plain wrong in Brady Lake Village.
It's tax time again.
When I think of taxes, I think of how much of our income goes to taxes.
Real Estate taxes, Federal Income tax, State Income tax, sales tax, gasoline tax, and in BLV, local income tax, not to mention highest Real Estate taxes in the county!
However, our clerk is always crying broke. Did we lose money somehow, was everything done which we should have done to stay afloat? What about grants? I seriously question that. What is the deal?
This is where I have a problem, we pay the highest taxes and have the worst fire department, police, roads, slums (for a village our size),etc. in the county.
On the other hand, Franklin Township does just fine. They have no local tax and proportionate taxes, better fire and police protection, and the roads are well taken care of.
There is just no comparison.

When I started helping at the BLV fire department,I noticed the 68 Ford fire truck was not running correctly. I was told not to take the air cleaner off,because it would shoot flames out the carb.

Long story short.

The truck had been driven 12 years,while not passing a pump test,with 2 spark plug wires on the wrong cylinders.
After a good tune up and a carb rebuild,the truck passed a pump test.
When I was asked to help out at the BLV fire department,not 1 truck would pass a safety test.
Most of the blame falls on the village leaders,for never telling the truth about the BLV money situation.
With 513 BLV residents,there is just not enough tax base to operate the village in a way that is safe,and fair to the tax paying residents.; March 25, 2011 at 11:20 AM

2 employees could do the job.
1 employee was the clerk's daughter.
This week there was 2 village employees picking up trash,with the village plow truck.

There used to be days when BLV had 4 employees working.
The clerk's husband,the clerk's 2 daughters,and their new gang member Allen Mathes,would all be working the same days.

I have made out 3 police reports with BLV's finest.
He went on to do,almost nothing,but some lip service,and made out a false maintenance report about the police cars,concerning my shop.(see pictures)
I was trying to save bloodshed,and Mr. Zero Tolerance is saving his job.
Mr. Zero Tolerance seemed to have no problem giving me ticket for no front license plate,and charging me with a crime,because I went a block down Lakeview and pulled in my own drive.

I think that you are mistaken about filing a civil suit, Dan was threatened many times and that is a criminal offense, not civil.

Kinney called me one day,and told me I needed to take the posts off the blog,that had his name on them. I asked Kinney,if the posts were the truth,and Kinney said yes.
I told Kinney,TOO F-IN BAD,the posts were staying up.

Folks,things with Allen Mathes,and Dave Kinney were OK,as long as I was helping them get what they wanted,but when the truth about everyone started to come out,those two crazy ass holes are pissed,and willing to do things to get even.

All Kinney had done is.
Try to start trouble between Tony,who lives there,and me,by telling Tony shit about me.
Kinney is in for more trouble than he has ever seen.

The last one is the one that I believe was probably created for "the family and friends".

What should be "Job Duties" are listed under "Knowledge of Work" and include: "Mowing of grass, weed eat, plow snow, shoveling of materials, clean and repair of ditches, catch basins, drive dump truck and unloading of materials from it. Run leaf vac, raking, chipping of brush, light mechanical work. Inspect roadway for repairs, pick up litter, emptying of trash cans, install street signs.Use of chainsaw, painting of various things."
"Use of satety equipment, such as road signs, flags for traffic control."
" Must have NIMS 100 Certification from the state."
"Follow verbal instructions and carry them out."
"Communicate with co-workers and the public."
(I didn't mean to run on, but that's what is says.)
This pretty much covers the jobs that family and friends are doing, I believe.
I do know that this is not done professionaly, it may be acceptable to the state, but I think the Ethics Commission can determine that.
One more thing, the mayor is supposed to do evaluations on all employees every six months, what do you think?

I also have another BLV true story.

This one involves BLV zoning inspector RT Mansfield,and BLV police chief Dave Kinney.
A few years back,BLV wanted all the abandoned boats,impounded. I let BLV use my Franklin Township property to store the boats,because it had a fence,and locked gate.
As people would find their boats gone,they would contact the village. If the owner could idenify their boat,I would let them have it for FREE.
I did not want to get mixed up in villge money,so I didn't charge storage.
Here's the problem.
Mansfield and Kinney impounded the boats,and they were supposed to do the paper work on them.
Guess what,that never did anything. I asked many times,at council meetings about the boat situation,and still nothing.
WELL,as it stands today,there are 5 boats on my business property in Franklin Township.I want them removed.
I'm tired of the crap from Mansfield and Kinney. They both need to do their job,and not worry about what I'm doing,they'd be alot better off.; March 30, 2011 at 2:53 PM

They're terrible,and getting worse by the month.
Some side streets have no pavement left to patch. The parking lots at the village hall,and fire station,are way beyond sealing,or patching.
Things are not going to get better.
There's not enough tax base,with 513 village residents. The only reason,I can see to keep the village a village is for the clerk gang to get their pay checks.

Franklin Township offers lower taxes,and take a good look at their streets. Franklin Township also has a real zoning inspector who will act on complaints,not take 20 years.
Franklin Township also uses the Portage County Sheriff's Deaprtment,as you are seeing,is much better,for less money paid in taxes.

Written verification of how many rental inspections have been done and how many are pending or have been sent to the landlords.

We received ZERO,as in ZERO TOLERANCE,for an answer.
The BLV rental inspections have been talked about for more than 20 years,but were started about 5 years ago. You have seen some of the Mumbo Jumbo in the pictures on the other CAMP blog sites. The BLV zoning inspector,RT Mansfield,is what the BLV clerk called him,NOT HONEST.
On another BLV zoning inspector note. The BLV police department is going to try and do unlicensed and inoperable vehicles,in the village.
This could have been done by zoning. In fact at one time it was,and all the vehicles in the village were taken care of,with about 4 or 5 hours of work.
BLV and it's officials,who answer to the mayor,just aren't doing what they get paid to do.
This is just more ammo for the Ohio Ethics Commission.
All three CAMP blog sites are going to be used,AS IS,to show how many issues BLV government has.
No Commission or judge in their right mind,can deny the pictures and doucumentation.

My FREE help at the BLV fire department was OK,until I told on Bescoe. said...: In the last BLV public records request,we asked for the amount of money,that was paid for the Ford squad truck,purchased from Ravenna Township,and how much has been spent on repairs to date.
The truck had many problems,and should not have been purchsed.
The public records on this truck don't seem to be complete.
Some of the issues were taken care of under Ford warrranty,but the truck needed a total brake job,and rear axel work.
Bottom line here is.
The truck was purchased,because Ken Bescoe wanted it. Bescoe didn't want Dan Boyle to be involved.

Mathes was life flighted to Akron,and almost died from his burns. I think Mathes was trying to help BLV save money,but this was not the way to do it.
Here's the real problem I have with the whole incident.
Ken Bescoe who was fire chief at the time,told all the firemen and me,to keep quiet about what happened to Mathes.
SO,everyone kept their pie holes shut. I said many times to many pepole,this was NOT the way to handle an incident,where a BLV fireman almost died.
This should have been talked about,and maybe a young fireman could learn what NOT to do when trying to seal a parking lot,or what you should do when you accidently set yourself on fire.
The BLV idiot officials,in all their wisdom,kept Mathes setting himself on fire,while working for BLV,QUIET.

The firemen at the BLV fire department who read this,will know it's true.
Bescoe went on to pull more shit,and tell more lies,until some of the BLV firemen,and myself,had our fill.
When I started to tell the truth about Bescoe,he retired,and I'm not allowed in the fire station,a public building.
This f-in shit ain't over,by a long shot.
This is just more of how BLV is being run,by the idiot officials.
If all this weren't bad enough. When an honest BLV councilman,Lynn Frederick,had enough and quit. The BLV idiot officials got Bescoe to be on village council.
