I don't think much money was made at the great Bad Lake Flea Show car show,not many cars were there on 6/25/11.
Also,the car show was put on by the BLV fireman's association,and they already know better than to give the BLV clerk Ethel Nemeth any money.
When I first started helping out at the BLV fire department,about 6 years ago,and was part of the fireman's association,I didn't understand why the BLV fireman's association was totally separated from any part of BLV government,now I do.
The guys on the fireman's association,had learned not to trust the BLV officials,especially the clerk.

As things have turned out,they were right. I don't think anyone wants to give the clerk any more donations,after the way a couple village residents were treated by the clerk,when they had money questions.
In fact that's why former councilman Lynn Frederick,and myself Dan Boyle,had enough of BLV parks and rec. There now seems to be NO BLV parks and rec.meeting minutes.
The minutes were asked for in the last BLV public records request,but like usual,the BLV clerk gave us no parks and rec.meeting minutes,or any other public records,that were requested.

Today the regular meeting of the BLV clerk and her mentor BLV council president,wanna-be attorney,was 1 short.
The wanna-be attorney's driver was sitting in the parking lot of village hall,while wanna-be was inside talking to the clerk.
Maybe the clerk finally had enough,and called the cops.

BLV had a chance to be apart of the joint fire district meetings,but former fire chief Ken Bescoe,told me Dan Boyle the meetings were bullshit. Bescoe was afraid of losing his fire chief's position,or BLV would lose the fire department. I went to a couple meetings,and they were not bullshit.
Besoce should have been concerned about doing what's best for everyone,not just himself,and a few in the clerk gang.
If you look at the Akron Beacon article on this CAMP blog,you will see the BLV fire department is one of the area fire departments that make almost no calls per year,yet the BLV tax payers,pay for the fire department.
To make matters worse,if you call 911 in BLV,you WILL NOT get the BLV fire department at your house. Dispatch calls the fire department who can get there the fastest,and BLV is not it.

The thinking with BLV leadership is so backwards,they want things to remain the same as they have been for too long.(dysfunctional)

The Ford squad truck was purchased from Ravenna Township for 8,000 dollars. The truck was looked at by me,AFTER,it was purchased,because,I would have said NOT to buy it,if I had been invited to look at it,like I was the 2 previous Ford squad trucks,that I said not to buy.

The Ford squad truck needed a total brake job front and rear,rear end work,the air conditioning and heating system don't work right,the tires were more than half worn out,the front steering and suspension is tired,the right front door needed work,the engine and trans leak,the overall condition is poor to fair.
The brakes,and rear end have been fixed,the rest I'm not sure. My guess is,BLV has about 13,000 to 15,000 dollars in a Ford squad truck,that BLV doesn't really need. BLV takes no squad calls.
This is just another example of BLV idiot leadership thinking. Former BLV fire chief Ken Bescoe,who is now on council,wanted this truck so bad,he lied to BLV council about the condition,and the real need for a squad truck,plus council never questioned Bescoe.

The money possibly could have been used to hire a decent attorney to take all the BLV landlords,and property owners to court,in a class action law suit,for all the horrible fire trap housing BLV has.

Shit,if the fire trap housing was taken care of BLV might never have a fire,or if rental inspections were taken care of,BLV might not have a fire.

If I'm wrong a BLV official of some kind, should straighten my ass out with public records.
The last I was involved with BLV zoning,4,out of over 50,rental inspections had been done,and that was only because I set them up by contacting the landlords,RT Mansfield,like always,ran his loud mouth.
RT Mansfield gets paid by the tax payers of BLV. I did zoning for FREE,because I was sick and tired of,30 years of excuses from the BLV officials,but when I started telling the truth about things in BLV,especially the former fire chief Ken Bescoe,the BLV idiots couldn't have that,so here we are with all BLV departments refusing a public records request.

I know the guy,(Dave Saltsman-of-Detect Alarms)that put the video system in BLV hall,and he said BLV can not stop us from having the videos,or tapes.

I road test many times on Lakeview Drive,and many times I have noticed a close call,with kids walking on Lakeview Drive,to get from the parking area to the swimming area.

Way back when,it was mentioned by the BLV un-paid assistant zoning inspector,BLV should have made a walk-way wide enough to save lives on Lakeview Drive.

BLV had 1 Wide Load police chief driving in circles in his ride,the Black Crown vic,and also using up costly fuel was a BLV White Crown Vic,with 2 drive in circle's people in it.

Watch out BLV drivers,that fuel,plus the wear,and tear on the police cars has to be paid for some-way. My guess is,since BLV has no money,and has to sell trees from Carson Park,somone is going to get a ticket to pay for shit we don't need.
Franklin Township does OK with the sheriff's department,and without being a police state. You talk about the cop cars--few years back--girl cop and some fat cop working for BLV pulled someone over on brady lake road in Ravenna township.
They both got out of the cop car and started to walk towards the person they pulled over. The girl cop looked back at the cop car as it was moving back on it's own and ran to stop it.
It was one that KSU sold to the village. Wish I took a pic of that!!!!

Instead of BLV having 1 good police car,like maybe a 4x4 SUV,that gets good gas mileage,BLV has 3 tired,gas hog Ford crown vics.
The mayor was told about this problem by me, Dan Boyle,before BLV got the 2 tired police cars from Kent State,but the mayor decided police cars for cheap,was the best thing to do.
This is just the kind of thinking,that is running BLV,or should I say NOT running BLV,and probably why the clerk has to take over,and make most BLV decisions.
The problem with the BLV clerk making most of the decisions is,she decides to use her family,and friends.
