The committe talked about a joint fire district. This would have 1 fire chief for 5 agencies,and save many thousands of dollars.
This makes sense for the tax payers,but not to some fire departments,who operate in a good-ole-boy way,that only hurts the tax payers,instead of being honest about fire and EMS protection.

Brady Lake Village has been lying to the residents for years,about what kind of fire and EMS protection BLV has,for the highest taxes in the county,plus an income tax.

More Problems To Be Ignored said...: Just looked at the new pictures on the BLC Blog Site.
My conclusions are:

(1)-Why would any police officer want to be a real cop when they can play one and get paid and be praised for bad copping and don't seem to care about self respect or self esteem?

And (2)-I, also, have noticed that particular house on Lakeview (among others)and don't have much question on how safe it is.
Evidently, the zoning inspector has been ignoring this one too because you can't miss it and many have commented on it (among others) but also stated that "it is a shame that you (BLV residents) don't have a zoning inspector!
Go figure!
My sincere conclusion is that the biggest and most overwhelming problems in BLV are the mayor, clerk, council, zoning inspector, and their compadres.
Until these problems are alieviated, the lake overflow and streets will go unattended.
We will ignore the bad housing and most serious problems.
We will continue being sued for their mess ups.
We will keep buying for their comforts and selling our natural assets.

You have to have very poor eyesight not to see the problems.

Here's 1.
When I Dan Boyle was an unpaid BLV zoning inspector,I needed a list of all the houses in BLV,if they were rentals,and if they had a house number on them.

Carole and Jack Hoover who are part of BLV planning and zoning,(clerk gang)went around BLV and made a list of ALL the houses,or so I thought.

BLV council-woman Ruth Carlson has 2 houses on South Pleasant Avenue,in BLV. We all,including the Hoovers know this.
Here's the part I didn't know,until the fire at 1 of Ruth Carlson's houses on South Pleasant. Only 1 of the houses has a number,and only 1 of the houses is on the list of BLV houses provided to me by the Hoovers.
SO folks,you tell me what's wrong with this picture. Not only are the Hoovers a part of planning and zoning,the Hoover's daughter is on BLV council. The Hoover's daughter's husband is also on BLV council.

I was never a village employee,and I also did zoning for free.
I found out later that my garage keepers insurance would have coverd me if I was charging BLV for the repairs on the fire trucks,so I never took the chance on getting BLV or myself sued,if there would have been an accident.

Jack was right,but look at what's going on now,especially with the police chief. Not much has changed,except I won't be shaking Jack Hoover's hand again,because the Hoover's seem to be part of the clerk gang,and part of the problem in BLV.

I, too, have seen them run stop signs both in and out of the BLV police cars.
But what concerns me more is the speeding with and without the lights.
I swear that they were doing at least 80 on Brady Lake Road and well over the speed limit through the village. Not necessary. This is not the Santa Monica Freeway.

Also, tailgating cars through the village. What about Assured Clear Distance.
Am I missing something. Don't the same laws that apply to us apply to the Brady Lake Police Department.

If any of you have looked at the Ohio Ethics Commission's web site,and been around BLV any lenght of time,you can see some of the ethics violations,that have been done by the clerk and her gang.
The BLV mayor is involved just because he let this crap go on,without doing much of anything,but let the clerk be the boss of it all.
BLV police chief Dave Kinney and his boys,trying to help the clerk gang is going to be a big mistake for them.
