I see some of the BLV officials had a meeting at village hall tonite about 7:00 PM. It would be nice if the clerk or anyone,let the public know what the meeting was supposed to be about. After all,that's OUR village hall,and it was purchased with OUR tax dollars. Before I was ex-communicated from the clerk BLV gang,I used to list all the BLV meeting days and times,in my Around Brady Lake newspaper article,plus on a blog site,so everyone would know what was going on,but everyone knowing what was really going on,became a problem for the BLV clerk gang.

There were 7 vehicles parked in the BLV hall parking lot when Honest Ethel pulled in this morning,about 9:15 AM.

I cannot believe that Brady Lake Village obviously does not bother to check job applications and experience for the PD.
With a couple, including the chief, it appears no where else wants them.
And, I cannot believe these guys are allowed bullets let alone guns!
Something is terribly wrong here and I hope the village will do something right for a change and step up and get rid of the chief and his stooge, K. Ray, Jr.before someone gets hurt.
My opinion is that they are using the badge for their own egos and although this is not a comic book situation they could easily be comic book characters (not he heros or course, but possibly the bad guys!).

I stated that people would like to be kept current on the status.
Than the mayor asked Holland what was the status on the property and he said was being surveyed and that there would be a public auction before any individual could purchase it.
I said that I hope that it was publisized because sometimes things weren't always done as many felt that they should be.
My final question was to Chief Kinney, since he has ignored my e-mails I would like to know the status of the investigation of the theft of my grandson's boat.
It was said that this was not the place to discuss this and I stated that the mayor is Kinney's boss and that maybe he could have Kinney give me the courtesy of an answer.
He basically said no and I asked just where I was supposed to go for an answer.
The meeting was adjorned until things (meaning me) settled down.
I did speak a little louder than normal because people seem to have trouble hearing my voice and I was in the back of the room and I was a tad bit upset by then.
The meeting then started again and I asked for the name of the new Solicitor (since I am a taxpayer) and they refused to give it to me. I stated that I felt I had a right to have the solicitor's name and I was escorted out of the village hall by the policeman (Marlon).

Obviously the village is in financial trouble but selling our assets will not solve the long term problem, it will just create more.

Call the state, let them know what is going on here and whether the village remains a village or becomes part of another entity at least there will be something left for the people and not the officials pockets (pay checks) or to cover their self induced law suits!
