My name is Dan Boyle.
I've lived in and paid taxes to Brady Lake Village (BLV) for 36 years. For over 6 years I was an unpaid assistant zoning inspector and worked on the BLV fire trucks for free.
In that 6 years I learned how BLV actually operates and how wrong things really are.
The worst was the BLV fire department.
Not 1 fire truck would pass a state safety inspection and 3 wouldn't pass a state pump test.
It's bad enough there was not enough money to fix the fire trucks correctly,but a few BLV officials knew this.
SO,while the BLV fire trucks were totally unsafe,the BLV officials bought a new village hall,plus the BLV clerk Ethel Nemeth and the BLV mayor Hal Lehman signed for their own pay raises. The list could go on,but this is how things are done at BLV hall,by the few in charge of our tax dollars.
Going back to Franklin Township is a much cheaper,safer way for BLV residents to live.

At about 11:15 PM tonite we went by your rental on Lakeview Drive,the 1 your Tequila drinking,fit taking grandson lives in.
Sitting in then shadows was a green Jeep with the hood up,but no 1 was around.
I guess you know, if it rains tonite and the green Jeep gets wet under the hood,it won't start on Monday.

The Village should have a document stating their procedures for preparing checks, and paying bills. the following is an excerpt from another municipality in Ohio, provided here as an example.
Procedures
1. Segregation of Duties
No financial transaction shall be handled by only one person from beginning to end.
a. Payment of all claims shall be authorized by the appropriate department supervisor, the City Clerk, and the City Council.
b. Checks shall be signed by the City Clerk and the Mayor. In the absence of the Mayor or City Clerk, another council member shall be designated to sign checks. In the absence of both the Mayor and the City Clerk, two council members shall be designated to sign checks. All checks all checks shall require two signatures.
Before you can accuse the Village of wrong doing you must first see what rules for signing checks are in force here in the Village. The mere fact that two places to sign are provided on the Village, does not automatically mean that two are required.
Hal only responded to who is authorized to sign checks, not how many signatures were required.
You may want to do a little better investigative work before you make a statement your not absolutely sure of.
I also want the Village to rejoin Franklin Township, but I don't want it done by playing loose with the facts. Otherwise were no better than the very people were trying to defeat. If you have absolute proof lets see it. In the meantime Stay strong.

When I had questions about why the BLV checks had places for the mayor and clerk to sign,but only clerk Ethel signed.
I was told by BLV clerk Ethel Nemeth,that she could never find BLV mayor Hal Lehman. Ethel said Hal was at BLV hall very little and sometimes didn't answer his phone,so checks needed to be made out and signed,so Ethel just did it,plus Ethel said it was OK with everyone.
My comment to Ethel was,if it was OK with everyone,why have 2 places to sign BLV checks.
I was on the BLV Firemen's Association and we had places for 2people to sign checks for a reason.
This BLV check signing problem might seem like a small problem,but just another example of how the BLV clerk Ethel Nemeth knows the BLV mayor and council are,BIDDABLE.

Back when I was an Un-paid BLV zoning inspector,I wanted list of all houses in BLV. I wanted to see the ones that had NO house numbers on them,plus the ones that were rentals.
Jack and Carole Hoover who are on BLV planning and zoning made me a list of supposedly all BLV houses.
It wasn't until the fire department couldn't find a BLV council woman Ruth Carlson house on South Pleasant Avenue,that I discovered 1 of Ruth's 2 houses on South Pleasant has no house number on it.
Ruth has owned this rental house for many years,but does what she pleases about records,(none)while she sits on council and bitches about other people's houses.
In fact the house with no number is beside the house Ruth Carlson lives in.

Just catching up on the blog which is the only way I know what is really going on in my village since everything is such a secret.
If we go to meetings they won't discuss most issues out of "executive session" or "I move not to discuss this at this time, we need more information, second, O K" (even though it is on the agenda).
That is what they do when anyone outside the clerk gang attends meetings and that is the truth.
And, common sense dictates that more than one signature is necessary to approve just about anything for obvious reasons. You wouldn't think that any one person would want the responsibility of one signature, again, it gives cause to question certain transactions.
I definetly do not like the fact that a stranger has access to my personal information such as my social security number on my tax forms.
I can't believe a stranger has access to all the public records that some taxpayers and residents have been requesting for a very long time and have been denied.
What is wrong with all the village officials?

Back on 3/1/11 I was driving a coustomer's van in BLV,the van had no front license plate.
BLV police chief Toe 2 Toe pulled me over for the no front plate,but ended up charging me with failure to comply,because I drove 500 feet and pulled my my driveway on Lakeview Drive in BLV.
This was the safe thing to do,becaue of all the snow piles beside the street.

I see it as the only option at this point.
Openness is something that the village officials do not recognize and that would be for obvious reasons.

We all know how Toe 2 Toe can be about no front plate,that's how he got his name Toe 2 Toe,by getting so worked up over NO front plate on a coustomer van I was driving.

Once upon a time in BLV there was cop named John Marra,while Marra was driving like a nut ball,on Infirmry Road the BLV cop car he did CRASH.
It's a wonder him and his passenger BLV cop John shorty Delillo weren't turned into ASH.
I saw the wreck report form the OSHP and what Marra said was really BRASH. (lies)
I wonder if because or the wreck, BLV residents had to lay out more CASH ?
When the BLV mayor Hal no-balls Lehman was ask about the wreck,Hal and I did CLASH.

I'll bet Delillo ended up with a large road RASH.
I heard Delillo told another BLV cop that the gas pedal John Marra did MASH.
This whole BLV wrecked cop car deal is NOT over,and worth a REHASH.
BLV cop John Marra said it was the car's fault,that into the ditch he did SMASH.
Instead of the 2 BLV cops getting WHIPLASH.
Marra and Delillo in the cop car they did THRASH.
I heard Delillo lost his fat hairy EYELASH.

Well Ignatz that,FAMISH,sure sounds like living in BLV and trying to get the BLV clerk gang to take care of just the basics,like a safe fire department and or fire trucks,safe police cars,a safe lake with NO caved in overflow,safe streets,safe rental houses instead of the many fire trap shit holes BLV has.
There also seems to be a-FAMISH, problem at BLV hall with public records,and a state financial audit.
Not to mentiontion the,FAMISH,situation with the BLV mayor NOT being able to stand up to bad BLV employees,like the clerk and her Nepotism bunch.
AND last but least.
The BLV police chief has made a,FAMISH,problem with the whole BLV police department.

Back in 1991 BLV had a real zoning inspector named Bob Miller.
The building that is now BLV hall was condemned by Bob Miller.
Bob Miller finally had enough of the BLV clerk gang's bull-shit and resigned.
After Bob Miller was gone the condemned building mysteriously became safe.
This is just more of how the BLV clerk gang does things.
To this day part of the BLV hall isn't safe.

Laurel called BLV clerk Honest Ethel Nemeth to find out and wanted the answer in writing.
So today taped to the outside of the front door of BLV hall was an answer by BLV mayor Hal Lehman.
BLV does NOT have a charter,but BLV does have idiots taking care of and answering public record requests.

I suppose now that it is known that the future of our community is in the hands of the voters, the real voters, not the clerk gang and their family and friends, I wonder if the bunch will have second thoughts about their mismanagement, selfishness, and lack of caring and concern for the residents.
I guess we are going to see how the people feel about bad zoning, high taxes, horrible streets, poor fire protection, unnecessary lawsuits, an over zealous police department, a gas well the people did not want for fear of harming the lake, a donated park which has to be sold to cover their mismanagement, etc., etc., etc.

CATHEXIS-investment of energy to get BLV back to Franklin Township,from where it came in 1927
In the last almost 3 years Ignatz and I have done a,CATHEXIS,of many things to try and get the BLV clerk gang to see and or do what's right.
Since that hasn't worked we're taking our,CATHEXIS,to the BLV voters with the help of Akron attorney Warner Mendenhall.
