The lake overflow has been caved in for many years. In 2008 when area by-the-lake residents had flooded properties and basements,they were told by BLV mayor Hal Lehamn something would be done.

Telling the truth about BLV seems to be a problem,for some. said...: Laurel Archer and I,Dan Boyle,have been in contact with the Ohio Ethics Commission,and we're working on the things we are going to be sending them about BLV and the clerk gang.

Until then,there are other problems in BLV that concern the BLV police department,or should I say 2 cops on the BLV police department. Getting any kind of help from the BLV officials(clerk gang)has been impossible for many years.
Alot of people have tried,but got disgusted and just gave up.

The only real BLV public record requests started about a year ago,and as we've seen has only produced less than half of the public records that were requested.

I asked where the chicken problem was , they didn't answer and adjorned.
After the meeting, R T told me the chicken problem was on Lakeview. I asked R T what the problem with the chicken's was and he said that "I received a complaint and I have to do something about it."
I then said you have received complaints about the rental problems and you haven't done anythng about them. He then pointed to the door and I left.
I've had problems with Mansfield before and I wonder what he is going to confiscate next.
It was obvious that the clerk, mayor, and council members did not want to discuss the ordinance with the unexpected people in the audience but I also realize this seems to be the norm for these people. Pass it when no one is aware of what you are passing, this is my own opinion.
I would really like to see more residents attend meetings so that they can no longer pass these ordinances to suit their own agenda.

Giving jobs to family members is wrong,but knowing about health issues and not saying anything,could be criminal.

At last nights 1/2/12 council meeting it was said that BLV had enough salt for the roads,to last the winter.
That statement was probably true,so you would think that leaves the maintenance of the BLV salt spreader as the problem,or driver error.

Maybe not.

Like every thing else in BLV,the village officials think cheaper is better.
BLV according to the mayor Hal Lehman,got one-hell-of-a deal on the salt spreader. The salt spreader has been a problem from day 1. That's just another example of how the leadership in BLV operates in a dysfunctional way.

In fact,the BLV dump truck that gets used to plow snow and spread salt is NOT really heavy duty enough for the job,but BLV got a deal,just like the deal on 3 tired police cars,for 0.3 square miles of BLV.
The list goes on with BLV equipment,because the BLV officials never bothered to get knowledgeable help in choosing equipment,they did it their own way. The same way they always did maintenance on village equipment and vehicles,the fix as broken way.(leaf vac & fire trucks)

The decisions that have been made by the BLV clerk gang have caught up with them,and your going to see more skrew-ups as time goes on.
