This is a Clerk Gang Alert! Look out!
The people that make the decisions for us are not necessarily elected! In other words, we had no choice, we didn't have much say.
For example, R T Mansfield was hired or appointed or however they do it. I guess he was a friend of someone, don't know who, seems he was exempted from meeting the qualifications for his job, probably no application.
Bescoe is definetly a friend of the mayor because it's almost impossible to be a lake patrol if you can't swim, a fire chief if you can't put out fires, or a council person if you can't vote no!
As far as the elected officials, that's an easy one, you can always win even if not qualified because NO ONE is running against you! I don't know if there is a one vote minimum or not?
This election should be interesting since most are totally fed up with the lack of concern for the residents or the village.
I wouldn't want to try to straighten out the mess that's been created!

The problem of the missing BLV rocords including the missing job applications is not just going to go away.
We did think about not doing anything if BLV would have voted in a new clerk,but since Honest Ethel is back as BLV clerk,the original plan will be carried out.
When the Ohio Ethics Commission was contacted about the nepotism in BLV by the clerk and her family,the problem wasn't so much 6 of the clerk's family members were getting village money. The real problem was the cover up of the clerk family skrew-ups and no one ever really knowing why tax payer money was spent to fix the skrew-ups.
We're not just talking a few hundred dollars here,we're talking thousands. So,the BLV clerk gang might be happy about Honest Ethel being clerk instead of Richard Fresch,but some of us are not,and plan to do something about it.
Honest Ethel and the BLV attorney Cynthia Hostler's refusal to give us public records is a whole other problem. Everyone,including other attorneys,that we have shown the certified envelope sent to village hall,but refused by the BLV attorney,can't believe an attorney would actually do that.
SO,just because the election didn't change shit in BLV,some of us are still going to try.
There seems to be some sort of REAR END trouble at BLV hall this week.

Most know that's next to impossible.
My thought was that the people who voted the gang back in are obviously uninformed and getting their information outside of village hall because if they did attend meetings and saw what was really going on, I doubt that they would have voted the way they did.
Then, maybe, we wouldn't be continuing with the mess we had before election day.
It's a shame.
And the problems are visual.
Just one example (and there are many more): Just look at the empty hill that used to be Carson Park! The devestation and loss of trees which were hundreds of years old because the village got sued because of their incompentcy and arrogant attitudes.
I don't know how anyone could look at that and vote the gang back in?

I wonder what the BLV idiot officials will sell after the next law suit.
I don't know about you,but I really don't need a lake,especially one with a caved in overflow,and nobody's sure who owns what shore line.
I don't think Brady Lake is going to need to worry about Dan Boyle's law suit as much as they should worry about the people who live around the lake. In 2008 the lake flooded properties and basements around the lake. At that time area residents came to village hall looking for help. It's now almost 2012 and nothing has been done about the lake overflow. There were a couple people with flooded basements who threatened to sue if their basements flooded again. After this last election,chances of anything new being done are slim to none. It's just a matter of time before basements around the lake are flooded again. The new village hall and ball field are nice,but the really important things were never taken care of first. What Richard Fresch,who ran for clerk,said about village money and getting what is needed,not what is wanted,sure rings true.
At last after 6 months of who knows what,BLV police chief Mr.Zero Tolerance is finally doing something about the investigation of the impounded,then stolen boat,that Mr.Zero Tolerance mysteriously found in Rootstown.

What is it with the stolen boat?
How could anyone be beleivable when they say:
First, Mansfield called BLPD to impound one boat in particular for no current registration, even though there were at least four others with no current registration, one being Mansfield's own boat.
Then, the Chief said the boat was stolen and it is a felony because it was stolen from government property.
Then, Oh, I found it, in Rootstown, on my day off!
Then, I don't know who took it.
Then, it was all a big mistake, the mayor said anyone could take the boats, and this is over, end of discussion!.
Then, when a police report was requested, all of a sudden, many months later, IT IS (NOW) UNDER INVESTIGATION!
I believe this is what happens when you get all mixed up in your own lies and are working for the clerk gang.
Another thing he was wrong about, it is not the "end of discussion" and this is far from over!

Where's the money going to come from to fix that major problem ? I don't think you can issue enough traffic tickets to pay for that repair,so,you better get BLV council to buy oil in 55 gallon drums,because it's cheaper.

I don't know if you ever knew this,but when it comes to emergency vehicles,cheap ain't safe,and the BLV clerk gang always goes cheap,even if it means life saving equipment.
Just like the BLV clerk Honest Ethel always used to say,that BLV could not afford outside emergency services.

The police cars and fire trucks would be the first things that should be safe,but how about the dump truck,or the mowers,and the leaf vav ?
When the leaf vac was supposed to be maintained by the BLV clerk's husband Richard,it was not. Richard had his head up his ass,plus the clerk thought BLV was saving money. The leaf vac blew up,almost injuring 2 BLV employees.
It wasn't that long ago,the BLV fire department had NO trucks that would pass a safety check,and 2 would NOT pass a pump test. At that time none of the police cars would pass a saftey test,yet the BLV clerk gang didn't give a shit,they were saving money. BLV should have become part of Franklin Township long ago,there's never been enough money to operate BLV safely.
The only time BLV had enough money was when the gangsters first started BLV in 1927. After the gansters were done with BLV,that left NOT enough residents(tax base)to do things correctly,and here we are today.
(FUCKED)-and not in a way that feels good.
WELL,it's flea market time once again,and Squaw Findabargin and Chief Kicksomeass are off,plus going to Pennsiltucky,in search of some much needed items for the BLV police department.

There was the clerk's husband Smokey rolling through the stop sign at Park and Lakeview turning to his right headed South on Lakeview,driving his clerk-wife's red Totyota van,and Smokey didn't even wave. We also have court records from the Portage County Court House,showing how many BLV traffic tickets have been issued on Brady Lake Road,that only the South 1/2,headed East,is actually BLV. BLV police chief Dave Kinney would not provide these records,so we went to the court house.
We have records of how many Failure to Comply charges have been filed by the BLV cops,and guess what,I'm the only one.
It also looks like I'm the only one who has been charged with no front license plate,all the other no front plates were warnings.
We can't wait to get the lying BLV police chief Mr.Zero Toleranc in court,in front of a judge and jury.

Being in BLV today was almost like being in Franklin Township,other than the horrible streets,the caved in lake overflow,the many fire trap rentals,the highest taxes in the county plus income tax,but as far as the police,BLV had real police protection today,(sheriff)because no BLV cops were on duty,so that meant no stop sign guarding,no lurking in the bushes,no being followed way too close,and no cop pictures for the blog. Is this what life could be like if BLV would become part of Franklin Township ?
At about 10:20 tonite in BLV,the black crown vic cop car was out lurking in the shadows at the Twin Star Bowling Lanes parking lot.(way in the back facing Erie)
The black crown vic then went down Erie and turned right on Garfield,then left on Lincoln, then left on Washington,then left on Leonard,then right on Lakeview,then left on Brady Lake road. At no time did the black crown vic use the turn signal,except at Lakeview and Brady Lake Road.
Plus,the BLV black crown vic cop car rolled through the stop sign at Lincoln and Washington,Washington and Leonard,Leonard and Lakeview,Lakeview and Park,and then rolled through the stop sign at Lakeview and Brady Lake Road.
There were 2 of us who saw this BLV cop-crap go on.
SO,let's recap-the-crap.
The BLV cop on duty tonite about 10:20 PM didn't use his turn signal for 5 turns,and rolled through 5 stop signs.
It's time for a video camera on BLV road tests,or maybe a citizen's arrest.

The BLV cop that was on duty last nite 11/14/11 at about 10:20 PM,rolled through all those stop signs,and didn't use his turn signal,while another vehicle was behind him with lites on, and 2 people in that vehicle.
I wonder how this BLV cop drives when nobody is around ?
It probably doesn't matter to BLV police chief Mr.Zero Tolerance,as long as this stop sign rolling cop gets his quota of traffic tickets.

Speaking of the BLV zoning inspector RT Weaselfield,there will be some BLV zoning items up on the blog later today.
It willl show just how much has been done about BLV rental inspections and exterior maintenance in the last 3 or so years.

I am a taxpaying resident of Brady Lake Village.
I have sat back and watched for some time now. I have tried to weigh all issus fairly and I have some questions for the Village Leaders:
1- This is addressed to Mrs. Ethel Nemeth:
In your position of clerk to the village and
acting for the benefit of the people you are supposed to be representing, what have you done?
I've seen taxpayers paying you and many of your family members and your friends our tax dollars, I see your friends getting done what "they " want done, which does not affect the rest of us, I have seen you try to get people to agree to help you get part of Franklin Township annexed into the village which, I believe, would be a disaster for those people.
I see that you got a signing bonus and you are to get royalaties from the gas well, isn't that a conflict of interest, especially when most residents were not aware of what was going on and did not want the well at all.
Why didnt you give the League of Women Voters any of your atributes or are the ones listed above the only ones you have?
2-And Mr. Mansfield:
What have you done as Zoning Inspectior? I see nothing, same old housing problems, only worse after these many years. All I hear from you is excuse after excuse. I feel there is no excuse for you!
3-Mr. Mayor:
You have lost touch with your people, they do not listen to you, they do as they please and they make you look bad. When are you going to do your job and stand up to them and make them do theirs?
Many say that this type of government goes on in a lot of other places but that does not mean that we have to accept it here.
This is strictly my opinion and I am going to end here for now, although, I could go on and on. I really would like some answers but these people don't seem to think they are answerable to anyone.
There is always the State, which offers many avenues, I am going to look to them next for the answers which I am seeking.

Hey Dan the brady lake cops had radar set up at village hall about 5:20 today,they got somebody on the north side of brady lake road going west. They finally caught up to them just over the hill from your shop on brady lake road. That's almost a mile and a half. They didn't get charged with failure to comply. I saw them in the acme parking lot and ask them. The brady lake cops are ass holes.

In our travels today we came through Rootstown Ohio.
It would have been a perfect day for doing some impounded then stolen boat investigating.
Some of us have been talking,and it shouldn't be too tuff to find out witch one of your pals lives or lived in Rootstown and needed a boat,because after the stolen boat report was made out,it only took you a few days to mysteriously find the boat,and say it was all a big mistake,it was over. Then when a copy of the stolen boat report was requested,the whole thing became under investigation.
People are starting to NOT trust you Mr.Zero Tolerance,and with funding cuts at the BLV police department,somebody might want your $30,000 a year,plus benefits job,and spill the beans on your lying ass.

If any of the BLV officials would bother to check the BLV police schedule,if there is a schedule,they might see that more than 50% of BLV's police protection comes from the Portage County Sheriff's Department. Plus the Sheriff's Department keeps getting called for back-up for Boyle.
The village leaders should take note of when BLV has police protection provided by BLV's own police department,and when it's provided by the Sheriff's Department.
It might surprise them.
Also they might want to check and see how many hours the BLV police chief actually works,for his $30,000 a year plus benefits.

I ask Ethel if she was crazy,why would I do that to my neighbors in Franklin Township.
I ask Ethel if BLV being part of Franklin Township might be a better idea. Ethel had no answer,and we all can now see why.
I've lived in,and owned a home in BLV for over 35 years,but I also have been part of 2 homes and a business in Franklin Township for over 50 years.
While Franklin Township is not perfect,it's one hell-of-a-lot better than living in Clerksville with Kinneylaw,and for lower taxes,plus no income tax.
OH,I almost forgot.
When I go to Franklin Township meetings with my property concerns,I'm not told to shut up by the zoning inspector,like in BLV,plus I get results about my concerns,unlike BLV.
The BLV clerk and her gang have always done what makes the village look good to the BLV tax payers,like lawn mowing,leaf pickup,new village hall,while the really important things like emergency services were in need of all the things that make emergency services safe for the BLV residents,plus the emergency service workers,like police,and fire workers.
This is the way it's been in BLV for way too long,and it's finally caught up with the clerk and her gang.

I see BLV has a BLV employee working on the leaf vac today at the BLV maintenance garage.(12:00 PM)
It wasn't Smokey the BLV clerk's husband working on the leaf vac,but it was the other leaf vac worker.(A.M.)
This is the worker who told me Dan Boyle,that Smokey almost backed over him one day in the village dump truck with the leaf vac attached.
I then told the mayor,the clerk,and the zoning inspector,but nothing has changed,just the same as when I told the mayor,and the zoning inspector about Smokey being asleep at the wheeel of the dump truck,while plowing snow.
SO,I would imagine that the BLV employee that is working on the leaf vac toady,is making sure the back-up beeper is working,and possibly putting on an extra back-up beeper.
This is just the kind of shit that can happen with nepotism and no job applications,or a mayor with no back-bone.

An ass hole K.Ray was spotted about 4:30 PM today lurking on Hartman facing North. You could see his stupid bald grim when you drove South on Lakeview past Hartman.
Sorry for posting so late,I had to piss in the gas tank of a green Chevy 4x4 pickup and I was laughing so hard,I needed a nap.
At about 8:20 PM today we were headed South on Lakeview Drive in BLV.
As we got to the stop sign at Park Avenue and Lakeview Drive,we noticed the BLV white crown vic cop car behind a car that was headed North on Lakeview and had stopped for the stop sign.
Instead of the cop car stopping at the stop sign,it ran the stop sign to get very close behind the car that had just stopped at the stop sign and was headed North on Lakeview.
The BLV cop car continued North on Lakeview less than a 1/2 car length behind the other car.
This type of driving lasted until both cars were out of sight on Brady Lake Road.
This was all done by the BLV cop car with NO overhead lites on,so,we figured it must have been BLV cop Kenny Ray Jr. driving the BLV cop car,because Kenny Ray Jr.was on duty and this is just how K.Ray drives.
Kenny Ray Jr. is a gun-ho-ass-hole,that is going to get somebody hurt,but Kenny Ray Jr.is a BLV police chief Mr,Zero Tolerance pal,so you-all know what that means.
It's flea market time again !
Squaw Findabargin,plus Chief Kicksomeass are off and going to Pennsiltucky in search of a drivers manual,some glasses,and bumper guards,all for 1 BLV employee.

The bumper guards will work for now,until K.Ray can read the Drivers Manual we're going to get him,that explains assured clear distance.
BUTT,the real item that Kenny Ray jr. needs is the Glasses for his bald head,because we're pretty sure K.Ray can't,F-IN SEE,or he's just a gun-ho ass hole.

In 2008 the water level in Brady Lake got so high it flooded area properties,but worse it flooded some Brady Lake area basements.
Area residents showed up at BLV hall with their concerns.
The BLV mayor Hal Lehman was quoted by the newspapers as saying something would be done.
WELL,it's almost 2012 and take a look on the BLV-Brady Lake Visual,blog site,and you will see NOTHING has been done.
Flooded properties are one thing,but flooded basements can cause BLACK MOLD,that can make people very sick,and even kill them.
The problem with black mold is,being sick might not show up for years,or maybe not make some people sick.
I guess the BLV officials are willing to take that chance ?
BLV has a new village hall,a ball field with well mowed grass,but the lake overflow that could kill people is still caved in.

I think the real problem with the side street named Crystal has been figured out.
