This group is concerned with the lake flooding of area properties,and basements.
The group had it's first meeting 3/18/12,and has been able to get help from a few places so far.

The next meeting of WET will be Tuesday 3/27/12,at the Club House in Franklin Township,at 7:00 PM.

Here's something that could only happen in Clerksville with Kinneylaw,or the Twilite Zone.

It seems BLV mayor Hal Lehman didn't have enough balls to show up at the first meeting of WET,even though he was e-mailed by me,about the meeting.
BUT,BLV mayor Hal Lehman this week,has had enough nerve to tell some area residents the WET group can't do anything without his OK.

He was invited to participate in this project as were other village officials and choose not to get involved.
The village idiots seem to get themselves in deeper and deeper, and now more and more people are seeing what we have to deal with here in Brady Lake Village.
It's not behind closed doors and (so called)Executive Sessions anymore!
There is no way of lying and covering up this one! It's obvious what is going on and everyone can see it as it really is!

We have a good solid start.
Thanks to everyone involved and the people who really care, including the people of Franklin Township, Brady Lake, Channel 3 News, the Beacon Journal, and especially Pat Swauger and the Blog Cam Guy who got things rolling.
It is a shame that the Brady Lake Officials are not included in the list but for some reason that was their choice as it has been for the past four years, more in other instances (the overflow and rental inspections come to mind among other things).
I think we should take their pay, sell their comfy village hall and fix the overflow!

The BLV zoning inspector RT Mansfield,alias,RT Weaselfield, seems to think it's OK to dump materials in the lake on South Pleasant,near his house. This dumping of materials has been done with NO permit.
This dumping in the lake,is going to be part of the talks at the next WET-We Enable Truth meeting, on 3/27/12 at the Club House at 7:00 PM.

Ohio Revised Code 6111.022 Proposed filling of wetland subject to level one review.
A level one review and a permit are required to deposit sand or fill material into a body of water in the state of Ohio.
The Army Corps of Engineers only has jurisdiction over navigable waters of the state, which means, waters that can be used for commerce.Brady Lake is considered non-navigable.
Every time the Village or anyone else enlarges their property by dumping into the lake, they are benefiting from an illegal act.
The Village has ignored the dumping and filling of the lake for years. Perhaps the silt from all that improper fill added to the lake, has caused the outlet to become blocked. If fill was added without E.P.A review how can we know what it contained or where it came from. We don't know if the fill dumped at various locations around the lake were clay soils or other silt containing materials, that eventually find there way to the outlet. The land where the worst flooding has taken place on West Shore, was a filled in lagoon. Despite owning the lake the Village did nothing to stop that dumping. It is also possible that if that particular dumping had not been allowed, the flooding in that location might not be so severe.The filled in lagoon that use to be there might have contained the extra water. Regardless of the results from dumping into the lake, it is the Village who ignored what was going on and is ultimately responsible for the results.; March 24, 2012 at 3:00 PM
One Can't Help But Notice said...: I once questioned a council person about a friend of Mansfield's doing work at his (friend's) home. (He was obviously changing the structure of the home.)
I noticed that Mansfeild was there often (visiting).
There was no building permit, I checked with the County Building Inspector's office.
The council person told me that they had asked Mansfiled about it and that Mansfield said "As long as I am present, no building permit is needed".
Now, who's dumber Mansfield or the council person who accepted that answer?
Moral of this little story is Mansfield either thinks he is above the law, that rules don't apply to him and his friends, or he is once again bullshitting his way thru life.

Julie ask me how many people I thought would be there.
I said I wasn't sure,but I had a few phone calls,and people stopped at my shop,because of her article. I told Julie I also learned more about the flooding from the people I talked to.
It seems when Brady Lake backs up,so does the swamp on the North end of the lake,that is across Brady Lake Road. That flooding causes problems for a small neighborhood on the North side of Brady Lake Road.
As this whole thing unflolds,we're learning just how many people have problems because of the caved in lake overflow.

BLV is 0.3 square miles of land and has about 500 residents,but this morning BLV had 2 cop cars out at once,but I guess that's better than 3 out at once,that sometimes happens.

Also the blog cam managed to get a photo of the BLV fire department,NUT FLIPPER,at the BLV mayor's house on Leonard.
It looked like the,NUT FLIPPER,was telling the mayor he really tried to get,ME,on his dad's property. That should be enough in itself,for the BLV mayor to make the NUT FLIPPER,Jon Mathes,fire chief.

Village mistakes and the Brady Lake PD is a big one of those mistakes!

If we are keeping the PD going from what they generate from traffic fines, I am not sure that is even legal.
It doesn't make sense to ticket people to keep your job for obvious reasons.
I do not know of one crime they have solved, does anybody?
I would rather see my tax dollars go to real law enforcement like the Portage Coundy Sheriff's Department. They seem to be visible in the area at all times anyway.
Brady Lake seems to be a pre-school for law enforcement, zoning, mayor, clerk, and council.

Who Do They Think They're Fooling? said...: Let me get this straight now, the "general operating fund" is where our income tax money is going, as per RC article of this date.
Does that particular fund pay and maintain verhicles for the fire department, pay the police department or maintain their three cars, or does it fix the streets, or will it go to make payments on the ballfield or village hall (we never should have bought), or will it save Carson's Park from the wrath of the village bunch, or any other thing which benefits the residents and taxpayers?
My guess would be it will pay the Nemeth family and friends wages, along with the mayor, council, and zoning inspector, and the new solicitor.
I cannot for the life of me see paying those people! For what!
I say we let them go find real jobs and quit looking out for themselves at our expense and we become part of a Township where we don't pay any local income tax and the residents are really the main concern.

I told the WET group about something called a Bundle of Rights. I found out about this from the WET blog site,and an anonymous poster's help.
As of today the lake level is down,but for how long ?
The WET group is not going to let happen what happened in 2008 when the lake flooded,that was nothing happened,but lip service from the BLV idiot officials,especially the mayor,Hal Lehman.
