Brady Lake Village(BLV) is in deep shit !
The petition to dissolve Brady Lake Village(BLV)is finished and has been given to the Portage County Board of Elections plus signed for by BLV clerk-mayor Ethel Nemeth,aka,Honest Ethel. The issue of dissolving BLV will be on the November 2013 ballot. I Dan Boyle have now been working with the SIU-Special Investigations Unit of the State Auditior's Office.
In the BLV public record requests there are missing records and missing money. I've been advised by the SIU to work with the local police and the Portage County Sheriff. I've already talked to BLV police chief Dave Kinney,aka,Toe 2 Toe and Portage County Sheriff Dave Doak. As always if anybody has questions you can contact. Once upon a time in BLV the BLV clerk Ethel Nemeth's daughter Debbie Stacey was paid by BLV tax payers to do all the BLV grass mowing and trim.
Many times BLV council and BLV clerk Ethel Nemeth were ask if BLV should take bids on BLV grass mowing.
BLV clerk Ethel Nemeth was also ask to get the BLV grass mowing records together to see just how much it cost BLV to do the mowing as compared to what a mowing contractor might charge.
BLV clerk Ethel Nemeth never got those mowing records together.
When you consider the cost of the BLV mowers,the cost of the BLV truck for mowing,the cost of maintenance,the cost of fuel and the cost of the BLV clerk's daughter,it would very likely be cheaper to contract BLV grass mowing.
This is something that should have been checked on.

Someone recently told me that the Brady Lake Village was producing revenue from rentals as they were told by a Brady Lake Official.
First of all, the rentals are also on a who you know basis, some people are charged for rental, some are not.
We all pass the village hall often, we can all see how often there are events there, and I wish someone would tell me how many centuries it would take to recoup the resident's money it took to buy the building, not to mention renovation, upkeep, utilities, etc.
I really don't think the yearly rental dollars would pay the electric bill for one month. (Strictly my opinion, of course).
I realize we now get free gas from the gas well which the clerk receives royalties from-don't know how much the royalties are( it's another secret) don't care how much the royalties are, it is the principle of the whole mess!

A village is not an individually owned business, as is, lets say, a restaurant.
You have many people you are answerable to, many bosses in government and there are specific rules and regulations which have to be followed.
For example, records are to be kept and made accessible to tax payers and auditors alike upon request!
They are not a secret, because officials are working for the people and are paid by their tax dollars.
Auditors expect to have records kept in a certain fashion too, in case they need to view them.
But if you don't understand the rules, and you are not interested in learning them or accepting advise and help from those more experienced, then you end up with a big mess such as Brady Lake Village!

Hey Dan: What kind of campaign are you planning this fall before the elections? Getting people to sign a petition is a lot easier than getting people to show up at the polls and vote in November.
I believe a campaign driving home the point that the village income tax will go away, and save the citizens a lot of money is most important. People do tend to vote with their wallets.
Remember this important little fact about voters, people prefer to vote for something rather than against something.It's just human nature. So we should all be for lower taxes. You have done a good job presenting the argument that we pay the highest taxes in the state,and have poor services, but we need to push the savings each voter will realize when the village goes away. That fact will really sell this thing,
we need to stress we are voting for less taxes, better services,and better police and fire, and not how we are all against the Village Idiots. Just my two cents.

BLV clerk-mayor Ethel Nemeth convinced the real BLV mayor Hal Lehman to do something about my truth telling ass.
Hal Lehman didn't have the balls to tell me facer to face so he called me on the phone at my shop.
BLV mayor Hal Lehman told me my services as a BLV zoning inspector were no longer needed and I was Not allowed in the BLV fire department building.
In about 1 week Hal Lehman again called me at my shop to tell me I Was allowed in the BLV fire department building.
In about another week BLV mayor Hal Lehman again called me at my shop to tell me I was Not allowed in the BLV fire department building,but I would be allowed in the parking lot of the BLV fire department,beacuse I was needed for the BLV fireman's association meetings.
I many times ask for reasons in writing why Hal Lehamn pulled this shit,but there has never been anything put in writing.
I Dan Boyle told BLV mayor Hal Lehman to go f-ck himself and/or BLV fire chief Ken Bescoe,who had resigned as fire chief over the truth telling.

The sun was on the cop car so it was tuff to see who was driving,but it's Saturday so it wouldn't be Dave Kinney in BLV.

I've known Brady Lake village(BLV) paid zoning inspector RT Mansfield for about 40 years.
In that 40 years RT Mansfield has always thought he was smarter than the rest of us and that's how he does BLV zoning,on a who you are basis.
I've known BLV clerk Ethel Nemeth about 20 years. In that 20 years Ethel Nemeth has always been very self-serving.
1 day when I was still an unpaid BLV zoning inspector,RT Mansfield told me he really didn't like BLV clerk Ethel Nemeth because of Ethel's nepotism and covering for her family's tearing up BLV equipment.
I ask RT what we should do about Ethel's nepotism and RT said nothing.
1 day when I was still an unpaid BLV zoning inspector BLV clerk Ethel Nemeth ask me if I trusted BLV zoning inspector RT Mansfield to do his zoning job honestly.
I told Ethel Nemeth I didn't trust RT Mansfield,because when he did enforce BLV zoning it was on a who you are basis.
So after talking to RT Mansfield and Ethel Nemeth I took it that they didn't like and/or trust each other.

At about 3:20 PM today I was on a road test in Brady Lake Village.(BLV)
I noticed on Merrill Road in BLV near Lakeview Drive part of a large tree was down,blocking 3/4 of Merrill Road.
I decided to tell the BLV cops about this downed tree,because it was dangerous.
I drove by the BLV cop car garage and a BLV cop was there.
This BLV cop told me that he was supposed to be going off duty,but he was going to stay to cut up the downed tree by himself.
It seems according to the BLV cop,the BLV fire department could NOT get to BLV to take care of this downed tree for over 1 hour.
Folks here's another reason why BLV needs to be Dissolved to get lower taxes and better services.

Kinney also went to BLV clerk-mayor Ethel Nemeth on 3/01/11 to boast that he tried to get me to go Toe 2 Toe,but I just wouldn't do it.

Brady Lake Village(BLV)is 0.3 square miles in size and has about 500 residents,making BLV 1 of the smallest villages in Ohio.
This next part might be an Ohio record.
BLV has 3 cop cars and about 20 cops,but BLV police chief Dave Kinney is the only cop getting paid,unless BLV gets a cop to do odd jobs like fixing BLV cop cars,while not being certified.
Tonite about 9:00 PM,BLV had 2 cop cars out at once,beating the bushes for who knows what.
BLV police chief Dave Kinney according to his BLV contract is supposed to work in BLV 40 hours per week.
Most weeks Dave Kinney is in BLV less than 20 hours a week,sometimes even less.
The bottom line is,there's no way BLV police chief Dave Kinney knows what the hell the BLV reject cops are doing and when they're doing it.
Folks and/or BLV tax paying residents,this is what we're paying $30,000 a year for.
When BLV is dissolved so will the BLV police department be dissolved.
Franklin Township uses the Portage County Sheriff and that's why Franklin Township is Not a police state,meaning you don't see the Sheriff beating the bushes for traffic ticket money.

This morning about 9:00 AM,I Dan Boyle was leaving my house at 6482 Lakeview Drive in Brady Lake Village.(BLV)
I had to wait at the end of my driveway for a car going north on Lakeview Drive to pass.
My feelings were rally hurt when I saw it was BLV police chief Dave Kinney,aka,Toe 2 Toe in the BLV black crown vic cop car going by my house.
Toe 2 Toe looked at me but didn't even wave.
I've begun to think BLV police chief Toe 2 Toe doesn't like me.
My guess is it has something to do with a couple blog sites.

At about 4:45 pm today I was on a road test in Brady Lake Village(BLV)and of course I had my blog cam with me.
There was a BLV cop lurking behind the outside furnace at BLV hall,beside Brady Lake Road.
When I drove by the BLV cop car garage I saw what appears to be the new BLV police department Meat Wagon.
The license sticker on the Meat Wagon was 14,that's Clinton County.
Why would a Dodge Sprinter Meat Wagon from 100's of miles away be parked at the BLV cop car garage ?

I wonder who this Sound Off writer thinks has been giving BLV residents police and fire protection for years,when the BLV fire department can't be around and when the BLV police department isn't around.

it's very interesting that while someone is demolishing an asbestos filled house on Lakeview drive, the village says the Zoning Czar is away at Putin Bay on business. Meanwhile the health department comes to the site and finds asbestos dust everywhere, they may have even shut the demolition down I'm not sure. The Zoning Czar had to know the house was going to be torn down and did nothing to prevent the spread of deadly asbestos all over the area and probably inside the homes of neighbors. How much more of this kind of government do we have to put up with.

These 2 guys were from the Ohio Attorney General's Office.

If the word is referring to mental health, that could be just about any of the village officials who don't seem to be able to grasp the unacceptable situation they have created in the village.
If it is physical problems being referred to, again the whole bunch don't seem to have a care in the world of others (the village resident's) health. For example the current situation with the spreading of asbestos from the house on Lakeview which was being torn down, or the black mold from the flooding of some properties, the lack of real emergency services by the village (which we are paying for!), it just goes on and on.
Although, Dan, when you presented the petition to the clerk, she appeared to be a little ill, a little green around the gills, so do Kinney and Mansfield when you are near as well as their cronies.
The gang's main concern should be the health of the residents, but it doesn't seem to be.
On the other hand, I really don't want anyone to be a "valetudinarian" and I think all will be well when the gang is held accountable for their misdeeds!
Also, I hope that your computer is up and well soon!
