Brady Lake Village is cheating it's residents !
Issue 10 to dissolve Brady Lake Village(BLV)did not pass. Dissolving BLV can be put back on the ballot at any time. Next time better information,in writing,will be provided for BLV voters. The truth about dissolving BLV is what's needed,not what the BLV officials(clerk gang)wants tax payers to believe. For now a law suit against BLV for the retaliation against me Dan Boyle is in the works. I've finally had enough of the BLV clerk gang's shit,all because I decided to tell the truth about how BLV was and is being operated,especially the BLV fire department. BLV needs to go back from where BLV came,Franklin Township,for many reasons.

Laurel(Sis)Archer and I Dan Boyle will be getting in writing from the Portage County Commissioners and the Franklin Township Trustees what will take place when Brady Lake Village is dissolved and goes back to Franklin Township.
Life is a learning curve and Sis and I learned many things about the workings of BLV and what needs to happen.

I wonder how the village is going to fare this winter especially since the election is over.
Most realize that the leaf pick-up was just another cover up (like the mowing) that makes the village look O K before election day.
I suppose we will be back to the norm, not enough salt because we just can't afford it.
I would hope that I am wrong but I doubt it. I've lived in and near the village too long and see what it is really all about.
I hope that more people get involved and ask questions such as:
"Where are my tax dollars going" and "Why" are they doing this and not doing anything for the residents?
As far as volunteers go, not sure who mentioned that, but most here have volunteered until there is no more volunteer left in us, especially when we see no benefits for the citizens!
I was looking at Live Leak and saw one of Brady Lake's finest doing what they do so well-harassing people and acting like the total idiots that they are known to be!

I attended a meeting at village hall in late October. It was a meeting regarding Issue 10 to dissolve Brady Lake Village.
At that meeting there were three BLV Wanna-Someday-Be real cops telling everyone how great the BL cops are and the clerk gang concurred. The clerk gang obviously have never been stopped for no reason and interrogated, they, I am sure will never be stopped by BLPD because they are above the law, heck, they are the law in Brady Lake Village and wanna be in Franklin Township and beyond.
Just about everyone knows that the Wanna Be's were told to get all the ticket money that they can and that they look for reasons and sometimes make reasons to pull people over hoping that they are either drunk or escaped convicts (just kidding)!
The cops are costing us money, lots of money, gas, police car maintenance, replacement cars when they total one, high risk insurance and now possibly lawsuits.
And, of course, the mayor, other officials, and police chief are totally responsible for the sad state of affairs that we are now faced with!
And, that is not to mention all of the other problems in the village.
One more thing, where is the Save Brady Lake Committee after election, did they finally figure it out? I have to blame them also because they were not really aware of what they have done to all of us! You cannot ignore the problems and then step in at the twelfth hour and act like you know what you are talking about!

This is exactly why I personally avoid the Brady Lake area. I happened to be on youtube and the Brady Lake Cop Police Brutality Video was recommended for me to watch. I reside east of Kent and make sure I never end up in Brady Lake Jurisdiction because of the reputation the police department has, & that video defitnitly proves it to be true! I personally took it upon myself to send it to Fox8 News I hope it makes the news, and lands officer webster and his chief looking for a new job!

I've lived in and paid taxes to Brady Lake Village(BLV)for 37 years.
As of the last few years,after Dave Kinney took over as BLV police chief,BLV is the worst it's ever been for being a police state.
BLV is broke due to bad management on the part of BLV officials.
I actually had 1 BLV cop tell me,BLV clerk Ethel Nemeth told the BLV cops to write more tickets or the cops might not have a job.
Also BLV seems to get cops who are not really wanted at other places.
If the BLV cops had good cop jobs,they wouldn't be working in BLV for free.
So BLV gets reject cops.
In fact BLV police chief Dave Kinney once told me he wasn't going to be allowed out on road patrol when Kinney worked for the Portage County Sheriff.
So Kinney ended up guarding pocket knives at the court house.(Kinney's own words to me)
Now,after this BLV cop Marlon Webster video,the whole world is going to see and/or know why BLV needs to go back to Franklin Township.

It just never ends with the Brady Lake PD. It seems a Brady Lake PD officer hit a young man in Ravenna. The young man was on his way to work and walking in a cross-walk.
Brady Lake PD chief Kinney was called about this incident but knows nothing. Someone needs to shut down the whole Brady Lake PD operation. I've noticed on the blogs the attorney general's office has been notified about the Brady Lake PD. Let's hope action is taken soon.
Don't blame Ofc. Webster for his creative embellishments on his incident reports. The BLVPD seems to enjoy that type of writing. As an example here is an excerpt from the BLVPD blog posted on Election day to reassure village residents.
When Officer Ohl informed the driver he was under arrest for OVI he attempted to flee on foot. The foot pursuit did not last long as running through backyards in the dark while intoxicated do not go together. By this time Officer Mclamorach arrived to assist. When Officers caught up with him he did attempt to fight which also did not last long. During the incident the subject did soil himself. If you were being chased by Officer Ohl you may soil yourself too.
So residents if you encounter the BLVPD DON'T RESIST. Just give in and soil yourself.

I attended a council meeting last night and I was shocked to see Marlon Webster there in uniform.
The guy who is all over the internet as assaulting a man because he didn't have a front license plate (possible warning should have sufficed).
Thing is the man had a video of it and pictures don't lie! Of course the video did not coincide with the police report.
This incident (as Marlon would call it) will more than likely cost BLV a lot of money, far more than he is worth.
My question is why is he still working for the village? Is this the kind of officer which Brady Lake Village prefers?
At the very least he should be suspended until the situation is resolved. But no, his presence continues in the village and he is still glaring at his victims, like me who he escorted out of a council meeting because I was asking legitimate questions the village people did not want to answer (I was not being disruptive as they said, anyone who knows me knows that).
I really have concerns about the village which will never be addressed.
It's O K though because people like Marlon Webster, Kinney, the clerk, the mayor, the zoning inspector, the council are doing the village in all by themselves!

I cannot connect this word with Brady Lake Village because they produce nothing good or healthful for the people area (other than for themselves), nothing beneficial that I can see.
However, in the meeting they were all excited about some new stop signs and speed limit signs which Franklin Township is helping them get thru ODOT or some such thing.
What about the fixing the streets and lake overflow, or not selling Carson Park, or the humungous debt they got us into?
Oh the solicitor is working on a couple of issues but he couldn't remember what they were Monday, they were in his "accordion file".
Business continues in BLV as usual, no concern for the welfare of the people!
More signs, more tickets, maybe that will help the paychecks to continue a while longer, maybe that's why they were so excited, I really don't see anything wrong with the present ones, they tell us when to stop and the speed limits.
I just think that we have more important issues which should be addressed.
Didn't mean to ramble, but it's hard to stop when it comes to the clerk and her gang.

Obviously the perpetrators are from good old Brady Lake Village and I am embarrassed for them.
As far as most are concerned we are one community, but the clerk gang wants to keep us separate. You have an opinion and are not afraid to express it as most seem to be in BLV.
Glad to see that you are not intimidatable-Keep up the good work but be watchful, this type of individual doesn't seem to be very stable but its all we have to run the village! They do not respect the law as most here do because they have their own little gestapo.
Also beware, I think that BLV is contemplating annexing part of Franklin Township into the village and if it is done as usual, you won't know about it until it is too late.
They have talked about it in the past and, of course, it would be more revenue for the village, keeping their paychecks coming.

I asked the clerk why Marlon Webster was still patrolling (I really meant menacing) in BLV.
The clerk said "why not?".
I said that maybe he should be suspended until the most recent incident is settled.
That is what would be done in the real world.
I guess BLV is a fantasy land after all as far as leadership goes!
The issue of the horrible roads in the village also came up and the clerk said that "if the people would agree to an assessment that the roads could be fixed".
I said that I don't think that the residents want to add to the already highest taxes in the county plus an income tax!
(They will tell you that our taxes are so high because of Kent City Schools, which are high, but Franklin Township and Kent City also pay the same tax and BLV is still higher. I hope that that did not fool anyone!)
I thought part of our taxes were to pay for such things(roads, among other things for the residents).
Which brings to mind the fact that we pay taxes and yet we are still 430,000 dollars in debt.
Excluding the ball field (which we did vote for), but, where did the rest of the borrowed money go?
I can/t see anything done for the people except a manicure for the grass which is a luxury we can not afford and which should not be a priority! We have far too many other things wrong in the village!!
I'm thinking that maybe the people who opposed Issue 10 should have done a little more homework, it is all in black and white and colored photos!!!!

Why would BLV mayor Hal Lehman and BLV police chief Dave Kinney let BLV be without a police chief for any length of time ?
Kinney's retirement on 12/29/13 is a Sunday. In the 3 years Kinney has been BLV police chief Kinney has Never worked on Saturday,Sunday and most Mondays,so is this 12/29/13 Sunday retirement legal ?
Isn't BLV being without a police chief just like the many other DYSFUNCTIONAL things the BLV clerk gang(officials)have been doing for way too many years ?

Pococurante appears to be what majority of the residents and taxpayers of Brady Lake Village seem to be.
When I attend meetings, which I do because I like to be aware of what is going on in my community, practically no one is there except the Brady Lake Officials. I know all cannot attend regularly but people need to be aware of what is going on.
Maybe if the public were aware of what does go on we wouldn't be in the mess we are now in.
And, how can the people who opposed Issue 10 come in at the last minute and speak on the village's behalf when they are only listening to what the officials tell them. Not to be negative, but they lie, a lot!
But,if you do attend meetings and ask questions, you may be told to shut up, escorted out, or if they don't want you to know what is really going on they will go into "Executive Session" or the clerk will say, "We are going to have a special meeting about this on a Tuesday" as was said last night when I was questioning the proposal to have BLPD patrol Franklin Township.
The people in Franklin Township should really be aware of this proposal because it will ***REALLY***** effect them!!!!
Also another ordinance or something was skipped over probably because of the presence of the residents, I am sure.
Why is everything they are doing such a secret. They are supposed to be addressing OUR concerns and representing US and yet they really don't want us to know what is really going on.
We all have real issues we need addressed and a big one is the Bogus representation we are getting.

I understand that The Clerk Gang want to share the Brady Lake Police Department with the Franklin Townshippers (at a price, of course).
I am certain that the Franklin Township Trustees won't go for it and realize it is a trick.
Why would they subject the residents there to what we are burdened with.
BLPD has not solved any crimes, however, they have issued a record amount of traffic tickets though!
If we were part of Franklin Township, a portion of our tax dollars could go to the Portage County Sheriff Department for real police protection.
And I don't care what the BL Gang says, the Sheriff cars are always visible and there quickly when we need them.
For example, on the day Kinney called to the SO saying that Boyle was fleeing and alluding from him (because his customer's vehicle didn't have a front plate on it, and he pulled into his driveway, ture story)five (count 'em) five Sheriff cars were there within a matter of minutes.
BLPD is absent from the village more than I can say (in spite of what the mayor says).
I don't like to call anyone a liar but it is what it is!
We now have 20 officers who have to call the SO for any real problem so why even have them?
Franklin Township seems to be doing fine-why fix something that is not broken or maybe they want to donate to BL Village to keep them going so that they don't get stuck with the mess we have become at the hands of present leadership.
And why is the mayor so excited about Franklin Township helping him get a grant of approximately S7000.00 for "new signs" when the roads are in a state of emergency?
I try but I just don't get it (and I'm pretty sure that I'm better off for it!).

Mayor Hal Lehman is now retired from Kent State so what would be wrong with his no straight answer ass doing some snow plowing ? At least then Hal would be doing something besides telling lies at council meetings.

It is about time Brady Lake Village Officials and Brady Lake Village Police Department have to finally answer for their actions.
It is long overdue!
Thanks, most of us cannot afford legal representation but I honestly believed that that was what the Village Solicitor was for, to keep them in line and see that the residents were properly represented, not to back them in their misdeeds.
Boyle should re-post the comment and PD lovers should keep us informed of when the arrest is going to court. Police blog will surely be updated with this feather for their cap or do they only update before elections.
